FaceBook Page for Before His Throne

New Page on FaceBook

Hi to all of our loyal "Before His Throne" prayer blog followers!

So sorry I've been sporadic about updating the prayer blog. Having a one year old and a firstgrader (along with a full time job) has not been easy! And, I know with Debbi's CF and Melanie's newborn and husband who has been deployed, it's not been easy on them either.

We have been praying :) And, remember, the Lord does not forget you. If we've missed posting your requests or your praises, the Lord has remembered many times over.

Please note that we will not abandon this blog but for now, We will mostly be posting requests as we can on FaceBook.

If you are not on FaceBook, don't worry. As I said, we will not stop posting here, but I did want to let you know where you can find us on FB.

We are on the Page: In Prayer; Before His Throne or you can click on the link below:

I just wanted to remind you also to rejoice in the Lord always - He Has Risen! Not only did Christ die for our sins but he LOVES us and cherishes us. We have a true friend in Jesus.

Love to you all,
Amanda

Melanie - Job Situation

Please pray for our good friend, Melanie. She was told today that on February 27th she will no longer have a job. They are closing the office she works in. Please pray for Melanie as she struggles to figure out where God wants her to work. Please pray for comfort during this very difficult time of uncertainty.

Praise on Greer!

Megan has shared that Greer's test showed no sign of glaucoma. That's a PRAISE!

It also sounded like her surgery on her Port Wine Stain went quite well. Check out Megan's site and see the precious video of baby Greer!

Melissa facing a tough battle

Please pray for Melissa of Dance in the Rain. She is hospitalized in Indianapolis, facing some very high, "intensely high", chemo. On Day 8 she will have a Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant. I'm sure that she would appreciate your prayers and hearing from you, also.

Rebecca and Baby - Update

Please continue to pray for Rebecca and her baby.

This was taken from her blog post today:

Thank you for all the prayers that went out today for us. God's presence and peace is strong, and that unexplicable peace helps fight away my fear and doubt.

Specifically, our prayer requests are:
  1. the baby continues to get the blood supply and nutrients it needs to grow healthy and strong, (or as Olivia prays each night: that the baby will stay inside mommy's tummy until it grows big and can come out to be with us).
  2. The tear in placenta will not grow and the blood clot will absorb.
  3. The partial placenta previa will move upwards as my uterus continues to grow.
  4. That God will continue to provide the help we need as long as I am restricted to bedrest.
  5. That God will guide us in our decision regarding an OB and hospital to deliver at. I would like to stay with my same OB, since he is familiar with my history, but there are a few complications that need to be worked out.

Kahla - trigger and retrieval

Please pray for Kahla's IVF to go smoothly and end in a healthy miracle baby that Jeff, Kahla and Chase get to bring home in 10 months.

She triggers tonight at 9:30 pm and retrieval is at 9:00 tomorrow.

Destiny - retrieval and transfer

Please pray for Destiny's IVF to go smoothly and end in a healthy miracle baby that Destiny and Jesse get to bring home in 10 months.

Retreival will occur tomorrow at 1:45 pm and transfer will occur next Monday.

Joshua

Please pray for Joshua. He is almost 3 years old and he is back in the ICU and is working hard to get through today. At thanksgiving he had RSV (his third time). He fights so hard and is such an amazing boy. Last night he was almost intibated and put on life support, but God heard the cries of His people and he is doing better today on 15 liters of O2!!!
