FaceBook Page for Before His Throne

New Page on FaceBook

Hi to all of our loyal "Before His Throne" prayer blog followers!

So sorry I've been sporadic about updating the prayer blog. Having a one year old and a firstgrader (along with a full time job) has not been easy! And, I know with Debbi's CF and Melanie's newborn and husband who has been deployed, it's not been easy on them either.

We have been praying :) And, remember, the Lord does not forget you. If we've missed posting your requests or your praises, the Lord has remembered many times over.

Please note that we will not abandon this blog but for now, We will mostly be posting requests as we can on FaceBook.

If you are not on FaceBook, don't worry. As I said, we will not stop posting here, but I did want to let you know where you can find us on FB.

We are on the Page: In Prayer; Before His Throne or you can click on the link below:

I just wanted to remind you also to rejoice in the Lord always - He Has Risen! Not only did Christ die for our sins but he LOVES us and cherishes us. We have a true friend in Jesus.

Love to you all,
Amanda

Updated: Destiny & Jesse's baby Boy

Please keep Destiny, Jesse and Cayden Matthew in your prayers.

Taken from Destiny's blog post:
Cayden Matthew "in fact appears to have some abnormalities. Cayden has a significant nuchal fold (flap of skin on the nape of his neck) and pleural effusion (fluid in chest cavity.) Both of this are red flag markers for Down Syndrome. The fluid must be monitored closely to prevent lethal changes. We are optimistic because all the other soft markers for Downs were not evident. His brain, heart, bone measurements, lips, etc are all absolutely perfect." "We return to the specialist in 10 days for another US to monitor the fluid. We are praying that both abnormalities are gone (this would obviously be a healing and would at least decrease the risk of Downs.)"

Original Post (5/20/09):
I got an email from my dear friend Destiny late last night. Please pray for Destiny and Jesse's baby boy. They just had their 18 week ultrasound yesterday and found out that their baby boy's heart is not healthy - the doctor found an abnormality. They are going to see a specialist this Friday for more answers. Please pray for this couple as they have already experienced their share of devastation after losing their sweet son Braxton last year.

Thank you,

Amanda

Co-Worker of Kahla's

Please pray for a co-worker of Kahla's.
She is 31 weeks with a baby boy (1st child) and is leaking amniotic fluid. An ultrasound showed very little fluid and she has been hospitalized until they decide what to do. Please send a little prayer that God will watch over her and her precious baby boy and all will be OK.

Debbi and Ryan

Please continue to pray for Ryan's recovery from surgery. Please also continue to pray for Debbi. She woke with a sore throat this morning and was up coughing all night. Please pray that she does not have an infection that would keep her from caring for her son; plus Ryan does not need an infection after surgery.

Thank you.
