Hi to all of our loyal "Before His Throne" prayer blog followers!

So sorry I've been sporadic about updating the prayer blog. Having a one year old and a firstgrader (along with a full time job) has not been easy! And, I know with Debbi's CF and Melanie's newborn and husband who has been deployed, it's not been easy on them either.

We have been praying :) And, remember, the Lord does not forget you. If we've missed posting your requests or your praises, the Lord has remembered many times over.

Please note that we will not abandon this blog but for now, We will mostly be posting requests as we can on FaceBook.

If you are not on FaceBook, don't worry. As I said, we will not stop posting here, but I did want to let you know where you can find us on FB.

I just wanted to remind you also to rejoice in the Lord always - He Has Risen! Not only did Christ die for our sins but he LOVES us and cherishes us. We have a true friend in Jesus.

Mary White

From Megan on 3/3: Mary is a sweet little friend, neighbor, and fellow church member of mine who I have been praying for since she was in the womb. Mary is 9 years old, and was born with hydrocephalus. She has had a shunt since she was very tiny, and has had multiple brain surgeries. She had done really well for the past 4 years or so, not needing any surgeries. Over the past month, Mary has had to undergo 3 surgeries. This past surgery was supposed to bring her relief from constant headaches and lethargy, but it has NOT helped and she may have to have a 4th surgery at the end of the week. Please pray that there will be healing from this past surgery and that the shunt begins to relieve her headache. She is also running fever now, and if that doesn't resolve, surgery is inevitable. Please pray for Mary, mom Jana, and the rest of her sweet family!

Jen's daughter, Brooke

I rec'd this prayer request 3/3, but have not checked my gmail for several days. My apologies.

Can you please put Jen's daughter Brooke on for a prayer request. She has been having some health problems lately and all they know is it is something to do with her liver. The released her from the hospital yesterday without answers, but they are awaiting test results.

Eric and Janie Lewis and their Baby

Please pray for my friend's nephew, his wife and their unborn baby. They just got the results of their 12 week Down Syndrome test - there are some abnormalities in the baby's development. They are headed to a high risk doctor for further testing within the next few days. Please pray that the Lord gives them peace during this difficult time.

Ashly and Baby

Please keep Ashly and her Baby in your prayers. She just announced that she is 13 weeks pregnant. Please pray specifically that her fears and nightmares would stop and that she can enjoy this pregnancy. She will be induced on August 24, 2009. Please pray that Ashly and Denny get to bring home a beautiful, healthy baby in August.

Brad is with Jesus

Please pray for Brad's family. Brad went to be with Jesus yesterday. I got this information from Rachel (friend of the family).

Michelle

Please pray for my friend, Michelle. She lost another baby last month and is waiting to see if she has to have another D&C. Please pray for her and her family. Michelle has suffered 4 losses now.
