Amber & Steve

Please keep Amber & Steve in your prayers. Their tiny baby (she was 35 weeks gestation) Megan Grace went to Heaven on Monday, June 29. She was diagnosed at about 20 weeks with Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type II. Her mommy & daddy got to spend 10 minutes with their baby before she went to be with Jesus.

Lauren & Baby Audrey

Please pray for Lauren and her newborn baby Audrey.

In summary: Audrey was born at 35 weeks and is receiving oxygen and is on a feeding tube. They don't know yet when she will be released, but her mommy is home from the hospital now.
Please pray for this new baby, her mommy, daddy and the rest of the family.

My friend

Please pray for my friend who just found out that she is pregnant. She and her husband and tiny baby need all the prayers and support that we can give them. They lost a baby last year so the uncertainty and waiting during this time will be overwhelming. Please pray that they will be comforted and that all goes well during this pregnancy.

Cancer patients

There are so many people dealing with cancer, it makes my head spin at times.

Pam, at Midnight Musings, has posted prayer requests for her mother (Loretta), her long-time friend, Suzie, and her husband's regional director. They all have cancer. To read more about them, click on her name above and thank you for praying for them.

Sunbeam

Please be in prayer for Sunbeam. She is a young girl who was run over by a truck and if you click on her name you can read the story first-hand.

Please also be in prayer for the driver who hit her. Understandably, he is very upset about this.

Stellan is in the hospital again

Please pray for Stellan and his family - he's in the PICU with SVT again.

Mike

Please pray for my friend Eva's husband Mike. He was just diagnosed with prostate cancer. Eva and Mike are newly weds and are trying to decide which approach to take (surgery or radiation). Please pray for this Christian couple as they make this decision and as the move to the next stage of his illness and recovery.

Please pray for Lawrence

Lawrence is a friend of ours and a good friend of my dad's. He collapsed at the end of church on Sunday and was taken by ambulance to the ER. They think his heart medicine needs adjusting. He had another spell yesterday and they aren't sure yet what the problem is.

Please pray for Lawrence.

Please pray for young Zachary. He is 13 years old and has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3 B-Cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. The cancer is currently in his liver and diaphragm and bone marrow. He is a Covenant Children’s Hospital in Pedi ICU. He will stay there until he is stable and he started chemo on June 8. He will have 3-4 weeks in the hospital of chemo and then when he gets out he will have 6 months of chemo.

Please also pray for Zachary’s step-mom (Gretchen), dad (Allan) and the rest of the family as they watch their Zachary go through this storm.

I received this prayer request from Ryon & Rachel. Gretchen and Allan work at Rachel’s company.

ME!!!!

This is Debbi.

We CFers get a lot of sinus infections and I have one right now. The pain is just about unbearable. The doctors started me on a high dose of Cipro, but I'm not sensitive to oral abx.

Please pray that this abx helps. The only other recourse would be IV abx and I had 4 weeks of them this year already and really can't afford more right now!

Please pray for Bill. He is the elderly father of a coworker of mine (Sandra). See below the email she forwarded to me today (that was typed by her mother):

Bill is not dong well right now. He went in for a bone scan last Friday, first for the shot of nuclear medicine and had to go back in 3 hours for the scan. The gal who was running the scan, right in the middle of it, after telling him that she was getting some good pictures, asked him if he had ever been diagnosed with cancer? He told her no. My lord, he has been diagnosed with everything else, and she asked him that, and then immediately left the room. Since then, his right side has been hurting him with excruciating pain. He has an appointment this Friday with the Dr. that is going to attempt to shoot that bone cement in his vertebrae where it was fractured 4 years ago. I really wonder if she saw something in the pictures, or if possibly that medicine has caused liver problems. He is really sick, threw his dinner up...too. I am worried about him, but he refuses to go to the Dr. before Friday, yet he is almost to the crying stage with pain. I have begged him to call his primary care Dr. and lets get him in to see him, but he keeps telling me "no". I really think he is so tired of being sick that he doesn't care what happens to him. I am truly worried. He told me he is trembling when he walks after the dinner episode, I reminded him that right now he can still walk to the car, but in a few days no telling what will be. He will not listen.
Please pray for him.

Baby Hope Amelia Bolte

Please pray for newborn baby Hope Amelia Bolte. She was born on June 1, 2009 and has "developed some nasty blisters anywhere friction has happened on her skin, where her hospital bands were, where bandaids and tape have been her skin blisters and then is just raw."

Hope's mom & dad lost a child (Isaac Matthew) in 2005 who had a similar skin condition.

Please pray for this family.

Please pray for my dear friend, Debbi. She and her family are having a rough time (financially) right now. Please pray that these issues would get resolved quickly and that peace and joy would be restored in Debbi's heart.

Jen & Baby Noah

Please pray for my friend Jen & her baby Noah.

She is 27 weeks pregnant with Noah and has been diagnosed with full placenta previa. She will find out tomorrow if she should go on bedrest or not.
