My son, Ryan

Please pray for my son, Ryan.

He is 14 yrs and fell over a waterfall today, falling quite a distance. It took them at least 3 hrs to get him to the car and another 4 at the ER.

He has 4 breaks in his foot and will need surgery this week. Ryan has Aspergers and has high anxiety issues. He doesn't know about the surgery yet!

He's also running a fever tonight.

Janine's husband and son

Please pray for my friend, Janine's, husband. He's one of the many who has lost a job over the last several months and is needing to find what God wants him to do next.

Also, please pray for her son, David. He has been very sick and she had to pull him from school and start teaching him at home.

Emerson has complications

Please continue to keep Emerson in your prayers. She is having complications following her second multi-organ transplant.

From her mother's blog, I've copied some key phrases:

"remains febrile and has stopped making adequate urine."

"Dr. fears she may have a bladder perforation, spilling urine into her body cavity"

"not extubatable."

"perforation likely happened several days ago & the contents of her bowel have been spilling into her bloodstream and abdominal cavity since"

"newly developed blood transfusion allergy"

4/25 Update from Adam on Kayleigh

Today Adam wrote a very moving post after Kayleigh's EEG. My heart really goes out to them and they really need everyone's prayers.

Pray for Autumn

Autumn is the teenage daughter of Linney at A Place Called Simplicity.

Autumn has just been diagnosed with a tumor in the pituitary part of her brain. Please pray for Autumn, her doctors and family.

Nicol, Greg and Summer

Please pray for Nicol, Greg and Summer. If you remember from a previous prayer request, they lost their little boy Luke last year to SIDS. Recently they found out that they were pregnant again. Unfortunately, Greg just posted today that Nicol has miscarried this baby. We all know the pain that they must be in right now. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

I just realized that I never posted an update on how Emerson is doing since her 2nd Transplant last week.

She is doing quite well! She has a long ways to go, but her parents and doctors are quite pleased with her progress!

Amanda is nearly 17 weeks pregnant and has been having some health difficulties. From her blog today:

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask specifically for you to please pray for my health. There have been some issues popping up lately (that I hope to never have to go into, but might be able to talk about at a later date). I have been undergoing some tests, taking some meds and will find out results of the tests within the next few weeks. Please pray that all is okay and that these tests and meds are just precautionary. Please also keep the baby in your prayers as we are not sure if any of this is affecting the baby. Thank you.

Emerson got the call!

I've asked prayer for this sweet girl before.

Her name is Emerson and she's been on the transplant list for the second time for multiple organs.

Today she got the call that they have a liver, pancreas, bowel and kidneys for her.

Please pray for Emerson and her family and check here often for updates.

Please also be in prayer for the donor family during this difficult time.

Please pray for my son

I don't want to post anything on my other blog because he reads that at times.

Please pray for my son. R has really been struggling with depression. It's hard to know how much is due to hormones, how much is Aspergers... He's just been very depressed and emotional lately. He's talked to some friends about hurting himself and I worry a lot about him. Pray that we have wisdom in the words we say and that we know how to help him.
